The Emotion Trail...

Emotions as they say
Are best seen as a way
To feel something deep
Which otherwise bundles up in a heap...

The crinkle of the nose
Is the cutest gesture
When a little girl teases
Her brother for a chocolate...

The wrinkles under the eyes
Are felt to be beautiful
When the laugh is from within
Rather than a compulsion...
But the same wrinkles
Are feared by the beautiful
When she sees them as a threat
of her approaching old age ...

The blush of the cheeks
Is an observer's delight
For there flows the joy
Which drenched the little boy...
But the same blush
Is an embarrassment
Faced by the lad
When he falls down in public...

The tears falling down
From a sad father's eyes
Dedicate an ode
To the death of his son...
But the same tears
Share the boundless joy
Of a mother
Holding her new-born....

The emotion trail
is full of strife
Which makes us realize
The essence of life...
